So I'm sitting here trying to figure out why the heck I am awake at five in the morning and then it hit me-- because I unknowingly said, sure, I'll take the job position and be on call at all hours of the day and come in whenever someone feels like calling out sick. Bright side: I got praise for doing something that I had maybe 10% of a role in. Down side: THAT I'M AWAKE AT FIVE O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING. The sun isn't even up yet.
I've got a doctor's appointment in approximately four hours. I can't wait for my doctor to tell me that I look tired, to which I'm prepared to reply that I've been awake for the last 24hours and don't intend on getting any sleep any time soon because my schedule has now been thrown off. Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers, knocking on wood, rubbing a Buddha belly, and all that good stuff hoping that nothing is wrong with me. If the news is the lesser of two evils then I can't wait to share it.
